If it’s fall, it’s the time of year for your golf game to be in mid-season form. What better way to show it off than at the Eighth Annual CYC Golf Challenge. The Challenge, the largest and most significant CYC fundraiser, always proves to be a fun-filled day. It is held every September at Discovery Bay Country Club.
The four-player scramble is a great team format that keeps players of all levels in the hunt. The day starts with participants receiving a CYC duffle bag filled with special gifts and concludes with a delicious dinner, awards ceremony and live auction. During the action, golfers enjoy food and beverage stations throughout the course and can take part in putting, closest to the pin and long drive contests. Hosted cocktails and a silent auction precede the dinner. And, if you’re not a golfer or you want to bring along a special guest, there is a dinner-only option.
