Congratulations to Zoe Gwizdak (Level 8) and Jordan Ault (Level 5) as both rhythmic gymnasts advanced to the Junior Olympics. Zoe will be a member of the Region One National Team that will compete against six other regional teams. The Level 8 Championships were held in Chicago in late April. Jordan just returned from her regional championship where she as well made the Region One National Team. Jordan competed against 46 others with the possibility of 10 competitors advancing to the national competition. Jordan placed 2nd all around which included 2nd place in rope, 3rd place on floor and hoop, and 5th in ball. The Level 5 Championships will be held in Columbus, Ohio from June 4-8.
The Rhythmic Gymnast of the Month is Janelle Nguyen. Janelle is one of our pre-team members. Since joining the pre-team, Janelle has never missed a practice and works extremely hard to improve her skills. Thanks Janelle, keep up the hard work.
