The rhythmic team traveled to Thousand Oaks for regional championship. The team did an incredible job! Olga Sigmundson placed first on hoop, second on clubs and floor and third all around. Olga Novitchkova placed third on rope and clubs and fourth all around. Harmony Nichols placed fourth on each event as well as all around. This is a great achievement for the girls for a regional championship, especially considering the large number of athletes that participated. Congratulations girls!
The next event is the national championship that will take place in Orlando, Florida at the HP Field House ESPN Worlds of Sports Complex which starts June 2. It will be an incredible and exciting event with athletes from all over the world. The recreational program is doing great as well. All classes are at maximum enrolment, and the attendance of students has been incredibly consistent.
Rhythmic Gymnastics Student of the Month is Gabriela Rodriguez. Great job!
