2012

USA Gymnastics NorCal Coaches Association
June 2011

There have been a few changes to the Gymnastics Program here at CYC. Aussie Ramos, coach and registration coordinator, is no longer working here with us. She has been studying to be a medical assistant, and now that her schooling is done, she is starting a new career. We are going to miss Aussie, but we want to wish her well in her new profession. Michele Horn will be taking over registration for the CYC Gymnastics Program. From now on, if you have any questions about registration for the gymnastic classes at the CYC, you can contact Michele at mhorn@cycmail.org. Michele has been with us for a long time and can help with any piece of the registration process.
The gymnastics summer camps are coming up, and if you have been on a waiting list for a gymnastics class, there are openings now in camps. There is a limit of 30 kids per camp, so you must sign up early if you want a spot!
Gymnastics Student of the Month is Mina Gardizi. Mina has spent some time on pre-team, working hard to get all of her skills. And all of that persistence has paid off. This past month Mina received her last few skills which she needed to become part of the level 4 competitive team. She has shown that with work hard and dedication, things are possible. We are proud of her determination and looked forward to her competition this fall as part of our level 4 team. Congratulations Mina!
