Congratulations to two of our CYC Artistic Gymnastic Team gymnasts who qualified for the Regional Championships in Long Beach in late April. In the Level 9 division, CYC team member (and also a CYC coach) Ivanna Alava qualified and in the Level 8 division Katherine Kiba was a qualifier. This is a wonderful honor for both these gymnasts. Great job!!
Our new gym is coming along nicely – so nicely that we will be starting classes in the facility on May 17th. Yes, will be moving our gymnastic classes over to that building prior to the previous June 1 start date!! It is a wonderful facility, a gymnastics facility made up to CYC standards – we can’t wait to start!
Our Gymnast of the Month is Katherine Kiba who placed second in the state championships while qualifying for the Regional USAG Gymnastic Championships. She has a strong work ethic and comes to the gym everyday ready to train. Congratulations Katherine.
