The CYC dance program features a variety of dance classes for youth. Ballet is the foundation of the CYC program, and thus the majority of classes reflect opportunities with ballet training. Other forms of dance are available in the program as well; however these classes also teach selected standard ballet techniques as part of their curriculum. More > |

A big congratulation is in order for all of the dancers and parent volunteers who participated in this year’s Spring Showcase! Each and every dancer did a fantastic job and completely charmed the nearly sold out performance. And to our parent volunteers, thank you for doing a great job lending your time to make the show run smoothly.
With the Spring Showcase behind us, it’s time to look forward to summer dance camps. There are still spots available in our pre-school camps which run during the month of July. These camps are filled with fun, dance, games and craft time. SDC and JSDC students have their own specific camps running during the month of June; all SDC and JSDC members should make sure to sign up! All the dance instructors are looking forward to spending some quality dancing time with students, and we hope to see you there!
Dance Student of the Month is Jennifer Barbanica. Jennifer has really been excelling in her jazz class, and she was a vital part of the Spring Showcase. She is a reliable, polite and easy-going student who always has a smile on her face. She is also an excellent role model for the other dance students. Great job Jennifer, keep up the good work! |
