The CYC is designed to attract youth and offer them a place to learn and train in athletics. Once involved in the CYC's various athletic programs, we help the students balance their educational and sport activities by providing an environment suitable for educational activities. I’m pleased to introduce our new Outdoor Activities (OA) Program Director, Joe Coniglio. Joe comes with a wealth of experience, including extensive time in hunting, fishing, and scuba diving. He has a background in biology and has spent several years as a professional in the biotech industry. The CYC is offering a heavy slate of outdoor activities in 2008. Get to know Joe and take advantage of the incredible opportunities in the CYC OA program. Lauren Healy, who built the foundation for the program, will still be in touch with the program from her role as the Academic Excellence Program Director.
Where are they now? For those CYC Alumni out there, we want to find you and catch up on your lives. If you’re alumni reading this, or know some alumni, have them contact me here at CYC. Or, check in with your old CYC coach. We have many successful alumni that have gone on to contribute positively to society. We are fortunate to have many alumni contribute back to the CYC. Some return to coach or volunteer, some donate money; others spread the good word about CYC. All is appreciated, but we need to maintain contact with more of you! Check in with the CYC if you’re interested in helping or sharing your stories as to how CYC helped you find success in life.
