"I am here to teach judo to boys and girls so they can enjoy judo as both a recreational and competitive sport," said Master Nam. "I believe that judo training will help to prepare our students to become more confident, patient and contented persons. For those gifted and dedicated students, there are many opportunities to participate in competitions at local, regional, national and international levels, as well as to represent the USA in the Pan Am Games and the Olympic Games. Our reward system is to promote students with colored belts (from White to Black Belt) based on the guidelines provided by USA Judo.
"My role is to influence our CYC judo students to be contributing persons in our community through judo training. It is my sincere hope and aspiration for young people at CYC to dream big and work diligently every day to achieve their goals in life and become happy, confident and caring people!" |
