The Drive for Discipline, Dedication and Desire. |
| For the past 12 years, thousands of youngsters have come through the Community Youth Center to strive toward reaching their personal goals. In 2007 alone, almost 2,000 different boys and girls participated in CYC’s after-school and weekend sports and academic programs, where they are guided, encouraged and challenged each day by remarkable, caring coaches and staff.
The Drive for Discipline, Dedication and Desire – the CYC’s Annual Giving and Awareness campaign – enhances our mission to give young individuals a chance to develop in athletics, academics, and life. We hope you’ll again join The K.H. Hofmann Foundation and other supporters in this mission. The Foundation believes through controlled sports training and education augmentation, today’s youth will develop discipline, dedication and desire to help better themselves.
You are an integral part of the CYC legacy. In order to continue to offer quality programs and opportunities, your support is a key. The CYC Board of Directors and staff have identified several goals to make CYC even better. The campaign will assist in providing new program equipment, program expansion and development, and financial assistance for team travel. Finally, through your continued “word of mouth” support, positive awareness of CYC will increase, thus, encouraging more youngsters to find the CYC.
